■After a three year break from recording, Saber Tiger went back into the studio and recorded a very diverse and dynamic set of songs, which eventually became 'Bystander Effect'. Initially released only in Japan, this international version of the album is an exclusive release. It contains English language versions of the four songs that originally featured Japanese lyrics, the brand new acoustic instrumental Ship Of Theseus and a completely revised track order. 'Bystander Effect' is also the first album to feature Saber Tiger's new bassist, the young virtuoso Hibiki. The album was accompanied by music video for the relatively melodic song Sin Eater, later followed by the heavier Devastation Trail. These videos illustrate the versatile nature of the song material on 'Bystander Effect' adequately.
